Providence Central Division

The Central Division encompasses 25 hospitals extending to rehabilitation centers and medical groups. Through these facilities, Providence serves the geographic area spanning across Oregon, Eastern Washington, Montana, Texas, and New Mexico. The fellow(s) will have the opportunity to sit alongside the regional executives located in Spokane, Washington adjacent to Sacred Heart Children's Hospital. The preceptor, Scott O’Brien is Chief of Acute Care Operations and Programs for the Central Division.

The Providence Central Division Administrative Fellowship is a paid, 12-18 month program, designed to prepare two recent graduates from accredited MHA, MPH and MBA programs as health care leaders in a large mission-driven, Catholic-based, not-for-profit delivery system. This project-based fellowship will be adapted in accordance with applicant desires and organizational needs. The fellow will gain exposure to local and divisional executive leaders, learn to operate in a highly complex matrixed environment, and be counted on to lead meaningful and challenging projects.
