Apprenticeship Programs
Apprenticeship programs are post-secondary learning options that provide
additional or initial skills training for incumbent and potential employees.
Apprenticeships provide real-world skills and knowledge, on-the-job training,
and academic learning, while paying fair wages to apprentices. They serve
a similar purpose to higher education but without the financial losses
most students incur.
