Providence Clinical Network

Providence’s operations are organized into several divisions or lines of business, including our newly formed Providence Clinical Network (PCN). The PCN encompasses all of Providence’s ambulatory operations, which spans medical groups, imaging, same-day care, specialized clinical institutes, surgery centers, external partnerships, and graduate medical education. With over 10,000 providers, 30,000 caregivers, and 1,000 clinics, PCN accounts for a significant portion of Providence’s workforce and total revenue. In addition to its focus on providing seamless care for patients, caregivers, and providers, PCN’s strategic focuses include value-based care, clinical excellence, and more.

The Administrative Fellowship with Providence Clinical Network (PCN) offers masters level individuals a 12-month opportunity to develop their management and leadership skills through a broad array of learning experiences. Fellows will receive extensive mentorship from senior leaders as they tackle challenging, highly visibility projects in their areas of interest. They will also cultivate a strong microscale and macroscale understanding of Providence's impact on the surrounding community. We are looking for four (4) highly motivated, self-driven individuals interested in Health Care Management & Administration, who will have either received their master’s degree by July of next year or who will receive their master’s degree upon completion of a fellowship with a 3.5 GPA or higher.

Two fellows will work at our System office in Irvine with: Dr. David Kim, PCN CEO; and Prasanna Mohanty, PCN Chief Operating Officer. Projects will primarily be focused on work that impacts the system footprint, spanning over all 7 states.

Two fellows will work at our Southern California Regional office in Anaheim with: Jill Duplechan - Chief Executive, Orange County and High Desert and Dave Mast – Chief Executive, Los Angeles. Projects will primarily be focused on work that impacts the Southern California footprint.

In addition to these preceptors, each fellow will be matched to a high-level manager to provide personalized one on one support throughout the fellowship experience. Fellows will be given the autonomy and support they need to tap into their full potential and become successful health care professionals.
