Providence Clinical Network

Providence’s operations are organized into several divisions or lines of business, including Providence Clinical Network (PCN). The PCN encompasses all of Providence’s ambulatory operations, which span medical groups, imaging, same-day care, specialized clinical institutes, surgery centers, external partnerships, and graduate medical education. With over 10,000 providers, 30,000 caregivers, and 1,000 clinics, PCN accounts for a significant portion of Providence’s workforce and total revenue. In addition to its focus on providing seamless care for patients, caregivers, and providers, PCN’s strategic focuses include high value care, clinical excellence, patient engagement, innovation, and more.

The Administrative Fellowship within PCN offers master's level individuals a 12-month opportunity to develop their management and leadership skills through a broad array of learning experiences. Fellows will receive extensive mentorship from senior leaders as they tackle challenging, highly visible projects in their areas of interest. They will also cultivate a strong microscale and macroscale understanding of Providence's impact on the communities in which we serve. We are looking for two (2) highly motivated, self-driven individuals interested in Health Care Management & Administration, who will have either received their master’s degree by July of next year or who will receive their master’s degree upon completion of a fellowship.

Structure

Two fellows will be based out of our System office in Irvine with C-Suite Executives, and Executive Leadership Teams. Projects will primarily be focused on work that impacts the system footprint, spanning 7 states. These are project-based tracks with an emphasis on ambulatory strategy and operations, with executive preceptors in these functional areas. The fellowships will primarily be remote work, with some opportunities to come into the Irvine office.

In addition to these preceptors, the fellows will be assigned an experienced manager to provide personalized one on one support throughout the fellowship experience. Fellows will be given the autonomy and support they need to tap into their full potential and become successful healthcare professionals.
