Career highlights are three-hour long experiential learning opportunities offered to middle school, high school, college, and adult career seekers, including Providence Caregivers. Each career highlight focuses on one specific healthcare area, and this one will cover the field of Respiratory Therapy.

Respiratory Therapists examine and treat patients with respiratory illnesses and issues such as breathing problems and cardiopulmonary disorders. They may treat conditions like asthma or help patients whose lungs are underdeveloped or inflamed. We hope you come and learn about Respiratory Therapy and see if this might be the career for you! We encourage high school students to utilize these events as job shadows and to fulfill course requirements at school.
