Event Details

Career highlights are three-hour long experiential learning opportunities offered to middle school, high school, college, and adult career seekers, including Providence Caregivers. Each career highlight focuses on one specific healthcare area, and this one will cover the field of Physician Assistant. Physician Assistants, alongside a team of physicians, surgeons, and other caregivers examine, diagnose, and treat patients, prescribe medicine, and interpret diagnostic imaging tests. 

We encourage you to come and learn about this role and see if it might be the career for you! We encourage high school students to utilize these events as job shadows and to fulfill course requirements at school.

This event will take place at Providence Portland Medical Center.
