Our Programs

At ProvidenceReady, we are dedicated to guiding individuals through every step of their health care career journey. Our diverse programs offer immersive, hand-on experiences designed to foster growth, professional skill development, and a deep understanding of the health care field. Explore our offerings:

Internal Caregivers

Providence Caregivers are encouraged to seek out Career Exploration opportunities across the organization. Caregivers can seek out job shadows and informational interviews or attend a career exploration event near them.

Caregivers may be eligible for tuition assistance and/or tuition reimbursement through Guild. Log in to Guild to see what is available to you.

Caregivers are encouraged to Embrace their Future through our Universal Skills program. The Universal Skills program helps caregivers grow personally and professionally through self-discovery, skill development and continuous learning. Explore the content on your own, or register for a two-hour, virtual workshop (Universal Skills - Home). Workshops are offered regularly on most of the skills.

Career Exploration

Our Career Exploration initiatives expose career seekers of all ages to health care careers through experiential learning. Activities include live surgical viewings, career highlights, online career resources, and more.

Internship

Each region may have different opportunities available; check the Providence job listings in your region to see what is currently being offered.

Apprenticeships

Apprenticeship programs are post-secondary learning options that provide additional or initial skills training for incumbent and potential employees. Apprenticeships offer structured, hands-on training in specific health care roles to enhance professional development skills with on-the-job experience.

School Affiliations

ProvidenceReady partners with educational institutions to facilitate clinical rotations and experiential learning opportunities for students across various healthcare disciplines. These collaborations ensure students gain practical experience while adhering to the standards set by the Oregon Health Authority.
